Program Director Position Available

Loads o funThe Program Director designs, coordinates, and leads Camp Perkins programmed events. This includes overseeing multiple on and off-site ministries and implementing age specific programming with sound Biblical teaching. This position also directs recruiting, training and evaluation of program staff. The program director must have excellent interpersonal skills, organization and planning skills, and the ability to respond to camper and staff needs. This position requires a great deal of cooperation with other camp leadership and departments.

The Program Director is directly responsible to the Executive Director. Applicants should hold a 4 year degree.

Located on 10 acres of USFS land at 7000ft elevation in the rugged Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho, the staff of Camp Perkins faces unique opportunities to work in a team ministry of deployed staff and the potential of dual housing locations for summer and winter. Camp Perkins is owned and operated by 38 LCMS congregations offering year round programs to people of all ages.
