*Please note: Grade is based on Grade Entering next fall. Youth campers will be grouped in cabins according to grades (3-4 together, 5-6 together, etc). Please plan your Cabin Mate Requests accordingly.

Camp Perkins is not located on the ocean, but beautiful Lake Perkins and the breeze that blows through the Stanley Basin makes for a thrilling ride skirting over the water in a sailboat.

Sailing Camp is integrated with the traditional Youth Camp, but during the Optional Activity time of Youth Camp, participants in Sailing Camp will spend the entire afternoon on the lake learning the age old skill of traversing the waves with the power of wind in one of our sailboats.  Camp Perkins has 2 Sunfish, 1 Hobiecat, 1 Day Sailer, as well as a 15 foot Coronado!

Participants will be led by trained and experienced instructors, but must be competent swimmers and be comfortable in deep water. Sailing Camp sessions are limited to 12 campers per session.
